April 29, 2010 - Fourth annual gala was another great success.
Two hundred people filled Le Living Room to play bingo. More than 700 prizes were given away and there was a great energy in the room. Andrew Carter did a great job once again as bingo caller and Ruby Belson, as always, was raffle caller extraordinaire. We want to thank everyone for their support and allowing us to continue helping so many children with The Mack Belson Early Academic Intervention Program and The Mack Belson Reading Camp. We could not do it without you.
January 12, 2010 - CJAD's Andrew Carter confirmed as guest bingo caller.
The Mack Belson Foundation is thrilled to announce that once again, CJAD's Andrew Carter will be returning as our guest bingo caller at our April 29th fourth annual gala fundraiser. Andrew has been a supporter of Mack's foundation since the very beginning and we are so very grateful to him for his continued commitment and support. In his spare time, Andrew can now be found practicing his bingo calling technique.
November 6, 2009 - 1st Annual Poker Tournament was a blast.
The Mack Belson Foundation held their first annual poker tournament last night and a great time was had by all. Hosted by Steve Merling of C3 Events, over 100 players played at Le Living Room while eating and drinking. All money raised went to help fund The Mack Belson Early Academic Intervention Program and The Mack Belson Reading Camp. The final table of ten played until 3am and each player walked out a winner. We are already looking forward to the next tournament

April 31, 2009 - Another Successful Fundraiser!!!
Last night, The Mack Belson Foundation hosted its 3rd annual fundraiser. 'A Bushel of Laughs' - A Night of Comedy was held at Le Living Room with 250 attendees. Ted Bird did a fantastic job as guest host, Ruby Belson once again wowed the crowd as the raffle caller and Ali Hassan, Claire Brousseau, David Pryde and Scott Falconbridge kept the crowd laughing all night long. Phil Bloom did a superb job as the room looked fantastic. A great time was had by all and The Mack Belson Foundation would like to thank all those who attended and also to all of our supporters who have donated funds throughout the year. We also extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all of our sponsors in kind who graciously donated all the neccesities of the evening including printing, prizes and gift bag items. All funds raised throughout the year will continue to help fund The Mack Belson Early Academic Intervention Program and The Mack Belson Summer Reading Camp. We are already planning for next year and we look forward to seeing all of you there. Thank you!!!

November 2008 - JPPS Childrens Centre Holds 3rd Annual Fundraiser
Over $1500 was raised at the JPPS Childrens Centre Art Vernissage. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who participated including all the teachers, students and parents who graciously 'purchased' their children's artwork in order to donate money. A very personal thank you to Randy Zucker and Nancy Fhima who, as always, go above and beyond to help raise funds for Mack's foundation.

June 13/2008 - Another Successful Evening
On April 28th, The Mack Belson Foundation held its second annual gala fundraiser and once again, it was a resounding success. Over 400 people attended our bingo evening where more than 650 prizes were given away. Money was also raised from our raffles and silent auction which will allow us to continue giving out financial grants to children with learning disabilities from families with limited resources. CJAD's Andrew Carter did a wonderful job in his first stint as a bingo caller and once again, Ruby Belson impressed the crowd with her raffle ticket calling skills. A sincere thank you to all the companies, individuals and volunteers who donated items and/or their time and without whom, the evening would not have been possible. We also want to thank all those who attended and helped to support Mack's cause and who have allowed our vision to become a reality. Without the generosity of this community, none of this could have been accomplished. Please continue to support us so that we can continue to make a difference in childrens lives. As always, we remain truly grateful for all the kind words and warm wishes that were extended to us before, during and after the event. We are looking forward to next year's fundraiser which will take place on Thursday, April 30th/2009 and we hope to see you all there.
